Spring Advantage & Fall Advantage Programs*

We have always heard that program participants felt they didn't have enough time on their internship. Students wanted more time to learn and experience the program. That's why we designed the Spring Advantage and Fall Advantage Programs. We believe these are the best programs!

The Advantage Programs are extended programs that allow participants to fully experience the Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World® Resort. These programs give participants more time to:

• Take Disney College Program Educational courses, which could increase the amount of credit they can earn on their program
• Participate in additional self-guided research or activities in our Disney Learning Centers
• Learn and apply transferable skills at their work location that they will use in their future career
• Build a strong network of contacts through networking experiences
• Participate in additional events scheduled at their Disney College Program housing complex, such as Movie Night, pool parties, Grocery BINGO, talent shows and more
• Participate in special holiday events at our theme parks and resorts
• Meet even more people from across the United States and interact with Cast Members and Guests from all over the world

These Advantage Programs are a perfect option for you to get the most out of this internship at the Walt Disney World® Resort!

* Spring Advantage - interviews are held during the fall semester, and the program spans approximately January through August.

* Fall Advantage - interviews are held during the spring semester, and this program spans approximately May/June through early January.

Spring Advantage Quarter & Fall Advantage Quarter Programs*

Similar to the Spring Advantage and Fall Advantage Programs, students who are enrolled in schools on the quarter system or trimester system are provided a time frame that will correspond with their school's academic schedules.

* Spring Advantage Quarter-interviews are held between September and November, and the program spans approximately March through August.

* Fall Advantage Quarter* - interviews are held between February and April, and this program spans approximately June through early January.

Spring and Fall Programs*

Our classic program offers a five-month Disney College Program. The duration of the program allows participants to take one or two educational courses and offers the time necessary to build great Walt Disney World® connections. Participants have the opportunity to participate in special events at their Disney College Program housing complex and also apply the skills they are learning in the classroom to their experience in their work location.

* Spring - interviews are held during the fall semesters, and this program spans approximately January through mid to late May.

* Fall - interviews are held during the spring semester, and this program spans approximately August through early January.

Culinary Program

Culinary programs vary in length for each student and each school. If you are a culinary student, the specific time frame of this program will be discussed with you at the time of your interview.
