Is this a paid internship? How much does it pay?
Yes, the Disney College Program is a paid internship. Cast Members will earn
between $7.21 and $8.39 an hour with time and a half for any overtime (any time
over 40 hours per week or eight hours a day, unless otherwise noted at your
work location) worked.
How many hours per week will I work?
Please review
information about work schedules here.
When and where will I start working?
Participants
will spend their first official day of work in Traditions class. This is a
training session for all new Cast Members and will be scheduled one or two days
after they arrive. Participants will find out their exact work location as part
of the check-in process and will begin training for their work location shortly
after they have completed Traditions.
If I do not like my reserved role, can I change once I get
down there?
Once you accept the role you have been reserved, you make
a commitment to that position for the duration of your program. If you have
questions about the role you have been reserved, contact your recruiter prior
to accepting your invitation online.
Which days of the week will participants be off from work?
Disney College Program participants typically have days off on
weekdays. However, this may vary with each work location. Additional
information is available here.
Can participants get additional time off from work?
Additional time off for weddings, graduations and other personal occasions
must be requested through the participant's work location's management team
after they have arrived.
