Education Overview
The Disney College Program offers students from any academic discipline a variety of outstanding learning opportunities - from Disney College Program courses to computer-based learning programs and other self-paced resources.Disney College Program Courses
There are eight
different Disney College Program courses, which the American Council on
Education (ACE) recommends for credit. Each course focuses on a topic for which
the Walt Disney World® Resort has a reputation for excellence. Each
course has learning outcomes and a level of academic rigor on par with courses
taught at colleges and universities across the nation. Students have required
textbook readings, term papers and special projects.
The Disney College Program curriculum includes organizational leadership, human resource management, hospitality management, corporate communication, experiential learning, corporate analysis and personal- and career-development courses.
Hundreds of institutions accept the ACE credit recommendations or offer students credit for their Disney College Program experience through cooperative education programs, internship programs and/or independent study courses. Please let us know how we can help your institution formalize the credit-approval process for the Disney College Program.
