Disney College Program Benefits
The Disney College Program is an exciting opportunity for students of all majors and backgrounds. Current business-leader surveys indicate that employers are seeking candidates with communication skills, initiative/motivation, teamwork, interpersonal skills, work ethic and problem solving. Students who participate in the program have the opportunity to develop all of these skills while they:
- Live: Students live in 24-hour gated apartment complexes in our multicultural community. Students living on our campus develop increased self-reliance, accountability and maturity, while building lifelong friendships.
- Learn: Students can choose from a variety of different learning opportunities. The Disney College Program offers eight different courses, which the American Council on Education (ACE) has recommended for three credit hours each. The instructors are Walt Disney World® Resort leaders who are industry and content-area experts and hold one or more advanced degrees. They also can choose to build a learning plan of computer-based and instructor-led learning activities that meets your requirements for earning credit.
- Earn: Students gain an insider's look at the strategies and tactics employed by a Fortune 100 company and industry leader while working hands-on in our operation to provide the ultimate Guest experience - magic!
