- How are
students placed with their roommates?
Roommates are selected based on a number of factors, including :
- arrival and departure dates
- work location
- gender
- whether they are under or over 21 years of age
- program season
- What are
the expectations of the students in the "Living" component of the program?
Each resident is expected to adhere to our "Community Codes". These codes have been developed and are enforced in an effort to create an environment that is welcoming and comforting to all residents. The codes address expectations around a variety of topics, including Overnight Guests, Apartment Condition, Guest Visitation Procedures, etc. Further, these codes clearly outline the Florida State Laws as they pertain to Alcohol possession and consumption, and Controlled Substance possession and use. Failure to comply with the Community Codes could result in immediate termination from the program, as well as the company.
- Can
participants live off-property?
While not recommended, students may secure their own Orlando-area accommodations.

- What are
the weekly payroll deduction amounts for housing?
$80-105
1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom apartments are available.
Each bedroom accommodates 2 participants . - What is
covered by the weekly payroll deduction?
Weekly payroll deduction covers:
- Rent
- Electricity
- Local Phone Service
- Basic Cable Service
- High-Speed Internet Access
- Water Service
- Furniture
- Housewares
- 24-hour Security Protection
- Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Service
- Transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort, as well as local shopping/retail areas.
- Are
apartments CO-ED?
Individual apartments are NOT CO-ED, however, each building may have both male and female residents.
- Can
accommodations be made for residents requiring special assistance?
Yes, upon acceptance in the program, residents may request special accommodations (TDD device, Shower Hand-Rails, Ramps, etc.) A member of the Housing Team will contact the student to gain a better understanding of the needed accommodations, and make every effort to provide them.
- What is a
"Wellness" Apartment?
While all apartments are designated non-smoking, many residents may be more comfortable in an apartment free of alcohol, etc. Students requesting a "Wellness" apartment will be placed together. All students under the age of 21 upon arrival will be placed in "Wellness" apartments by the College Program Living team.
